Building Permit Process

  1. Obtain and fill out the building permit form. If you have questions, call 707-665-3636 or email Keri Pajon between 7:30 am and 5:30 pm, Monday through Thursday.
    1. Download Building Permit on the Building Page
    2. Physical Forms are available outside west door of City Hall and outside the Community Development Department office.
  2. Sign, complete forms, and any attachments please email them to Keri Pajon. If the attachments are too large to be emailed, contact us at 707-665-3636 to set up an electronic drop box or to arrange for an appointment.
  3. Once the permit has been received, it will be evaluated by the Community Development and you will be provided the permit number and amount due.
  4. Once you have the permit number and amount due, contact Administrative Services at 707-665-3631 to arrange for credit card payment over the phone or to receive direction for delivery of physical payment. Administrative Services will confirm payment for permit issuance.
  5. Community Development will email you the approved permit. Inspections will continue to occur as scheduled, based on requests and staff availability
